There are several ways to tell if a Coach bag is authentic or not. As many Coach bags contain a “C” pattern make sure the pattern is not crooked and the letters are lined up without any uneven spaces. Also, make sure the letter is a “C”, not a “G” or any other letter. The serial number should be stamped into the leather, not printed in inked on top of the letter or on any tag. The zipper on a real Coach bag will be either leather or a series of rings and should be embossed with the letters “YKK”. Checking details of the bag might prove the bag is not authentic, but the only way to know for sure that the bag is an actual Coach bag is if the bag is bought at a department store not off an online auction.
